Brighton and Hove Progressive Synagogue received a good turnout when almost 650 visitors attended its Artshul exhibition. This was the first time that the shul had participated in the Artists’ Open House scheme which was part of last month’s Brighton Festival. The shul was open for the four Sundays of the May festival. Organiser Jess Wood said: “I am delighted. We opened our doors to the public and they responded magnificently.”
