Camp Simcha, the charity that helps Jewish children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses, ran its first outing for children from Manchester with a trip to Camelot amusement park. The 16 children, from the ages of five to 15, each with their own volunteer, were treated to an adventure at the Lancashire theme park. Pearl Lopian, who was recently appointed as Camp Simcha family liaison officer for Manchester, described the outing as a success.
