Meanwhile, Notebook can reveal that Ryan Craig, writer of What We Did To Weinstein, is under commission from the Hampstead Theatre to come up with not one but two new plays — one about sibling rivalry and the other, a co-commission with Paul Jepson’s Fireraiser’s company, about the love affair between Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracey.

There is no production date yet, says Craig. But anyone who takes on the role of Hepburn will have to go some way to match Tovah Feldshuh’s performance as the film star. Hepburn was the role Feldshuh played in America to great acclaim just before she arrived in London with her solo show about Golda Meir.
