Hatrick of successful inspections: Lubavitch Multi-Academy Trust ceo Judith Nemeth

Lubavitch Boys’ Primary School in Stamford has been rated good in all areas by Ofsted, marking significant progress from its previous inspection.

The state-aided school was previously assessed as “requires improvement” three years ago but headline grades are no longer awarded to state schools.

Its latest evaluation makes it a hattrick of successful inspections for the chief executive of the Lubavitch Multi-Academy Trust Judith Nemeth as both its girls’ junior and secondary schools were rated good on their last inspection.

Ofsted said the boys primary “provides a warm and nurturing environment that supports the well-being of its pupils” and had “high expectations for pupils’ achievement”.

The academic curriculum was “carefully designed to support pupils to learn well in a wide range of subjects. The school has taken effective action to raise academic standards and ensure that pupils achieve well overall.”

New headteacher Yehudah Leib Kohn and leaders had “undertaken a number of important steps to further develop the academic curriculum. Leaderships’ actions have focused sharply on improving pupils’ achievement, especially as the school’s published outcomes were low last year.”

Pupils “learn the importance of caring for and helping others, and their actions demonstrate this. This work helps pupils to develop into responsible citizens”.

Their positive behaviour ensured that the school “is a happy environment, where pupils can focus on their learning”.

They enjoyed a range of extra-curricular clubs from baking to juggling, “great thought” went into educational trips and children were supported in their “awareness of different cultures”.
