Around 50 people from the Harrogate and Leeds communities joined American forces personnel at Menwith Hill Station for a “day of remembrance” service. The theme of the event at the army base, organised by the station’s chaplain, Rabbi Henry Soussan, was “remembering Kristallnacht 1938”. The visitors included Holocaust survivors Arek Hersh and Lily Pollock.
