It's a kind of tragic

Actress Debra Tammer has a motto: "There's no subject that's off limits - although my mother would disagree." In her self-penned show A Mancunian Rhapsody, Ms Tammer runs the gamut of Jewish life - all set to the music of Queen.

Catch her at the Gatehouse in Highgate, before she heads to the Edinburgh Fringe. It's as if Freddie Mercury is there in person – if, of course, he was a Jewish housewife named Rivki Pashinsky who would rather "clean house" than "break free".
