Joe Jacobson has signed a new Wycombe Wanderers contract on the eve of the new season.
The Cardiff-born defender won a two-year extension that will take him through to the summer of 2018.
Jacobson, 28, impressed during Wycombe’s march to last season’s League Two play-off final.
And just four days before the campaign kicks-off, the Welshman is celebrating after penning fresh terms to stay long-term with the Chairboys.
Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth said: "JJ is an important member of the team and fits in perfectly into the long-term plans we are working hard to put in place here.
"As an experienced member of the squad, he will be able to help develop the younger lads and we know will provide a consistently high standard of performance week in, week out."
