A civic reception was staged by Glasgow City Council at the City Chambers to mark the 150th anniversary of Jewish Care Scotland. Staff, volunteers and clients of the charity were among the 150 guests. Jewish Care Scotland chair Maureen Solomons presented the council with copies of A Caring Community, a book by volunteer Sharon Barron tracing the charity’s history.
