If you are bereft at the end of The White Lotus and a weekly look at Jason Isaacs, he has two new films coming up. The Salt Path, based on the book by Raynor Winn, about a walk on Cornwall’s coastline, is pretty much a two-hander with Gillian Anderson. I’ve been lucky enough to see it, and if your soul is feeling troubled it feels like a salve. A reminder of the beauty of nature, the strength of love – it is out next month. That is followed by a musical version of Romeo and Juliet out in June.

Nick’s Shoah story

BBC Radio 4 journalist Nick Robinson heads the first of the Holocaust Education Trust’s weekly podcasts called Objects of the Holocaust and the story of a letter his German GP grandfather received from a patient who no longer wanted to come through the front door, is truly heartbreaking and fascinating.

Lipman service

The Park Theatre in Finsbury Park has become a real haven of Jewish culture. Next month Maureen Lipman is hosting an evening of jazz and poetry there, while in September the play Lee will explore the story of Lee Krasner, the overlooked artist wife of Jackson Pollock.
