Gai Assulin has been released by Manchester City.

The Israeli midfielder failed to break into the Premier League champions’ squad and played the last three months of the season on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion.

While Maccabi Haifa are eager to sign the player, his agent, Pini Zahavi, said that he hopes to “find Championship team”.
