MACCABI MANCHESTER BLUE 1 REICH INSURANCE RANGERS WHITE 2

Reich were left stunned after conceding 10 goals against Leeds Maccabi in the Harold Feldman Trophy last time week. But they responded with a hard-fought win over Maccabi Manchester Blue to keep them in the title hunt.

The  title-chasers were made to work hard to make it seven from seven as they bounced back from their cup debacle.

Player-manager Gaswirth said: "I missed our previous game but it was an embarrasing result.

"We wanted to make amends. Everyone had to man up and take responsibility. I told them either we wanted to compete for the league title or not.

"And we showed that we did by showing our composure and battling qualities."

Joseph Mann and Simeon Goodman gave the Whites a two-goal cushion at the break.

But the mid-table hosts responded via Yoni Green to set up a tense finish.
