Berman scored five times with Saul Shapiro, Jake Kelly and Dylan Sidle also netting in the rout.

The win not only boosted Sedgley goal difference but moved them back to the summit and one point above Haroldeans.

Champions Haroldeans, significantly, have two games in hand over their rivals.

Having seen his team slip down the table in recent months, Leeds boss Adam Kristall admits the horror show was one to forget.

"It was clearly not the result we wanted," he said. "We just want to draw a line under it and bounce back in our next game." Jake Sorkin scored Maccabi’s consolation.

All Maccabi Manchester games were postponed as a mark of a respect following the sudden death of 53-year-old Stuart Foster, son of Max, who plays for the first team.
