Meanwhile tomorrow, the Hampstead is also hosting an offering from London-based Israeli Theatre Company Tik-sho-ret — a rehearsed reading of Savyon Liebrecht’s drama I Am Speaking To You In Chinese, about “dark desires and secret love affairs”. It is good to see a work here that reflects Israeli life away from war and conflict. There will be a post-show discussion about Israel’s theatre — which, doubtless will include the many Israel plays about, well, war and conflict.
