Nightingale House given refurbishment money

Ajex leaders visited Nightingale House to present a cheque for nearly £10,000 which will be used to refurbish 250 chairs at the home. The Ajex representatives were new national chairman Peter Wagerman, his predecessors Harold Newman and Alan Levine. Also present at the celebratory tea were residents Kenneth Berg and Leslie Solomon, both ex-servicemen and Ajex members.
