Nine honoured for 60 years of support

Nine people who have been members of Brighton and Hove Progressive Synagogue for more than 60 years attended a special Shabbat service and kiddush in their honour, where they were each presented with a white rose. Rabbi Elizabeth Tikvah Sarah explained: “Just as Israel was born 60 years ago, so these people helped to revitalise local Jewish life in the diaspora.”
