No lessons from you, Cardinal

According to Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O'Connor, we should do more to welcome immigrants.

Be that as it may, there are few public figures less qualified to offer moral leadership than the man who knowingly appointed a paedophile priest to a chaplaincy at Gatwick Airport.

Given that I regularly point out the shortcomings of the MCB, and stress the need for Muslims to make clear their total condemnation of terrorism, it's appropriate that I also point out the disgrace that the Cardinal brings to his position.

And it's equally a standing rebuke to the Catholic church in the UK that this man has been allowed to remain in his position instead of being forced to resign in shame.
