Biscuiteers Rosh Hashanah cookies and tin: How cute are these! Not only is there a collection of vanilla, chocolate and ginger flavoured biscuits iced with new year’s greetings, apples, honey and shofarim, but they turn up in a beautiful tin. At £45 a pop, they're not cheap but they do deliver, and are definitely worth the calories. Find them and a whole range of the cutest baked goods at biscuiteers.com
Jars Vuelta hand made cake plate: You can never get too many cake plates and platters. Round ones are easy to find, but a rectangle - perfect for that loaf-shaped honey cake - not so much. This beauty is hand made in the South of France and you can even stick it in the dish washer! £40, Borough Kitchen www.boroughkitchen.com
London Honey single origin honey gift set: I'm a huge fan of the London Honey Company. Their honey really is so much better than the supermarket version. It actually tastes like bees made it and not like a sugar syrup. This gift box is not only gorgeous but will get the lucky recipient's year off to a sweet start. This box is £32 and you'll find it and other honey-related gifts (that include bottles of honey mead, bees wax candles and even an introductory course on bee keeping) at the thelondonhoneycompany.com
Dalton Anna dessert wine: I was lucky enough to taste (and fall in love with) this superb, kosher, sweet and sticky, liqueur Muscat wine when I was in Israel recently. Owner Alex Haruni, made it to celebrate his mother's special birthday. Her image is on the bottle, and the very feminine packaging (which looks like a perfume bottle) will delight any recipient. Details from Dalton's web site (they also do a fabulous range of fine wines that would be welcomed by any host) and contact Kedem for UK stockists.
Chocolate and dried fruit platter: Who doesn't love a plate of chocs? Chocolate fantasies have gifts ranging from simple platters like the one below (dried fruits, chocolates and chocolate-dipped dried fruits) for £20 to mammoth affairs for several hundred pounds. It's all kosher and would make fabulous table centrepieces. More info from chocolatefantasies Shana tova - happy giving and receiving.
