Kenzo has been rocking this look for years, but it's only now that other designers are taking inspiration from the Far East with kimono-style tailoring, wide-leg trousers and cinched waists. Fierce palettes filled with rich reds, burnt oranges and golds take centre stage, while muted neutrals play down this look beautifully and add a contemporary spin on the loud prints of the Far East.

Take a cue from Zac Posen and Sportmax who took on a subtle play of shapes - think judo jackets, origami pleats and sharp-shouldered kimono wraps.

Marks and Spencer's Valentino and Gucci- esque designs are the big winners on the high street with obi belts, mandarin collars and frog fastenings in stunning prints and luxurious
fabrics.

If this look is too print-heavy for your taste, stick to fluid designs that are loosely cut. Team with a wide belt and flats, then take a bow!
