Michelle Josephs and Naomi Cohen are Cockfosters and North Southgate Synagogue’s ladies of the year, selected by the board of management. Ms Josephs was instrumental in establishing a Sunday coffee shop, a forum for young people “to explore their Judaism and spirituality in a friendly environment”. Mrs Cohen has run a toddler group, organised social and educational events and devotes a great deal of time to the Keshet nursery.
