Jews may be to thank for bolstering numbers in church attendance. More than 20 churches around the world have now installed Churchix, a facial-recognition system developed by Israeli company Face-six that scans the church's CCTV feed and matches faces to a pre-existing database of members. No word yet of a synagogue-friendly version, but it's probably not worth skipping Shabbat services – just in case.
