Nearly 100 members of the Whitefield community visited the historic city of Krakow. The trip was led by the minister of Whitefield Hebrew Congregation, Rabbi Jonathan Guttentag, Rabbi Pinny Cohen and guest tour guide Simon Taylor. The visitors toured the Jewish quarter of Kazmierz, and visited the Krakow ghetto before travelling to Auschwitz. Participants included Yisrael Abelesz, a Hungarian Auschwitz survivor, who recited kaddish.
