Israeli wonder kid Yshai Oliel is just one match away from his second Junior grand slam final.
Oliel and Zizou Bergs of Belgium rallied from a set down to beat Chien-hsun Lo and Anthony Jackie Tang 6-7. 6-4. 10-5 at Flushing Meadows in the quarter-finals.
Their reward is a last-four game against Juan Carlos Manuel Aguilar and Felipe Meligeni Rodrigues Alves for a place in the final.
Oliel, a member of The David Squad for top, young Israeli tennis talent, won the won the French Open Junior Doubles title at Roland Garros in June with Patrik Rikl of the Czech Republic as well as the prestigious World Orange Bowl Under 14 crown.
Left-hander Oliel, 16, was beaten in straight sets (6-3, 6-2) by Nicola Kuhn in the third round of the Junior Boys Singles.
