Ben Blackston believes Andy Shaffer can help Reich Insurance challenge for silverware after the striker maintained his eye-catching start to life at Reich Insurance Rangers to down Maccabi Blue.
Shaffer, who arrived from Republic of Mancunia, bagged a brace with Simon Lachs also weighing in during this comfortable win.
Director of football Ben Blackston said: “Andy has settled in very well and he looks a very good signing.
“We have made a solid start and he has played a part in that. I feel we can have a say this season.
"Leeds are favourites but second spot is certainly in the balance. We just hope to keep everyone fit."
