Vital Ukraine work

The contrast between the self-created divisions described above and this week's joint letter on behalf of World Jewish Relief could hardly be greater. The Chief Rabbi has shown a welcome penchant for joining across the denominational divides where possible, and the crisis in Ukraine is sufficiently grave for any such differences to be put aside. The JC makes no apology for returning repeatedly to the catastrophe facing so many fellow Jews. WJR does vital, life-preserving work in parts of the world that many of us barely think about, let alone visit. Their work demands our support.
